I’ve had two restless nights of sleep in a row.

Monday night, I tossed and turned in nervousness about how Election Day would fare.

Last night, I woke up several times as my mind tried to accept the fact I received enough votes — 1,970 filled-in ovals — to be part of the city council in January.

I don’t know what else to write right now other than a big THANK YOU!

Several months ago, I was told profound advice that my campaign can’t be about me. It was suggested I need to be humble and the campaign should be about you. Thanks, John, you know who you are. Thanks for that.
